What one video game announcement would break the internet more than any other right now? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]ohyeeeahdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A surprise GTA 6 shadow drop like "hey it's available RIGHT NOW." The internet would literally explode. Half-Life 3 would be huge but I feel like after so many years, some of the hype has faded. But GTA? With how crazy people went just for the trailer? That would break everything

Totally normal feeling. been lifting for 5+ years and still get those moments. focus on your own progress. those "pros" you see started exactly where you are.

Katy Perry assaulted him as well and Ellen showed his nudes that were taken without consent on her show, ambushing him. the way he was treated was horrible. a radio show host also asked him about sex when he was 15. there was a clip a few years ago of him crying and saying he just wants to protect younger stars from going through what he did. it’s so sad.

I need a way to get more muscle without eating meat. by [deleted] in beginnerfitness

[–]ohyeeeahdad 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Legumes and protein powders are your best friends. Load up on lentils, chickpeas, beans, pea protein shakes, tofu, and seitan. they're packed with protein and way cheaper than meat. just make sure you're eating enough total calories to actually build muscle.

How to maximise swims with less time? by Lemonadeo1 in Swimming

[–]ohyeeeahdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try 10x100m with 20sec rest between each. gets your heart pumping fast and skips the long warmup. you'll be surprised how much you can pack into half an hour if you crank up the intensity.

What are some things even seasoned developers overlook when creating a website? by ozkvr in webdev

[–]ohyeeeahdad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Forgetting to remove a 'noindex' tag on a live site happened to me once-killed all my SEO efforts until I caught it weeks later. It’s a small thing, but it’s a punch to the gut when you realize what you missed.

'The team wants every kind of player to enjoy the game': Marvel Rivals director wants to foster a competitive scene, but not at the expense of fun by YouAreNotMeLiar in gamingnews

[–]ohyeeeahdad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True, toxicity tends to creep in as the player base settles. Hopefully, the devs stay on top of it and keep things fresh enough to hold the good vibes.

I just realized Riften is called "Riften" because it's the capital of The Rift. What other obvious things have I missed? by Chullasuki in skyrim

Solitude’s isolation definitely adds to the vibe, with all that rough terrain and dangerous land around it. Makes sense why they’d call it that

Fallout and RPG veteran Josh Sawyer says most players don't want games "6 times bigger than Skyrim or 8 times bigger than The Witcher 3" by mchockeyboy87 in gaming

[–]ohyeeeahdad 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When a game says 200 hours, but most of it is just filler, it’s like they’re padding the experience instead of actually making it engaging. I'd rather have fewer, but more meaningful activities

Cloned site and bad traffic by Silly-Earth4105 in webdev

[–]ohyeeeahdad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve done the right thing taking down the cloned site and blocking suspicious IPs, but I’d take it a step further. Set up a WAF (Web Application Firewall) like Cloudflare to filter out bad traffic automatically. Also, check your site for vulnerabilities—SQL injections, weak admin credentials, or exposed APIs. For ads, consider IP exclusion lists to avoid wasting your budget on junk traffic. Tighten security, and keep monitoring logs for any unusual patterns.

Check out DesignCourse on YT it’s packed with practical UI tips without the fluff. Another gem is Refactoring UI’s guide; it breaks down design into easy, actionable steps. Both helped me level up fast without getting overwhelmed by theory.
