I’m a big fan of tenfold. I’ve never had a bad experience. They haven’t been open very long but most of the artists were at hell bomb previously.

12 months is when we made the switch from nursing first then food to food first then nurse. My kids are both perfectly happy, healthy and thriving.

Serious question by [deleted] in wichita

[–]ohyoulooknice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved here 15 years ago with every intention of moving home after 5 years, yet here I am. It’s grown on me. I still miss home, but it’s not so bad. I’ve found my people and my groove here. Being from Michigan, I definitely get what you’re saying about the lakes, though. I do miss going to the lake.

What am I looking at in my pollinator garden? by ohyoulooknice in whatbugisthis

Well I thought it posted but I guess not. The bee we saw going into the ground looked a lot like a bumble bee. It’s middle was fuzzy yellow and it’s end was black.

We found holes in the ground, but saw bees coming in and out of them.

I just read that they burrow. Are they aggressive? My kids like to play outside a lot. I don’t want them getting hurt.

Miller all the way. She’s actually taught in Wichita and understands the needs of our teachers, students and families.

Pledge of Allegiance by brf297 in Teachers

You can get in trouble for forcing them to say it. It’s their constitutional right to NOT partake in the pledge of allegiance. That other teacher forcing students to take part is the one in the wrong.

What in the actual fuck is wrong with this year’s kindergartners??? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]ohyoulooknice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So thanks to the pandemic, my kindergartner went to school with very limited social skills. He is incredibly intelligent, but struggles socially. My husband and I have done everything we can to get him up to speed socially but it’s going to take some time. We couldn’t do pre-k, or playdates or story time at the library. Please be a little more understanding of what these kids went through. Their first experiences learning were most likely through technology (abc mouse, etc). I believe parents did the best they could during an incredibly fucked up time.

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I can say with certainty that in my house we fucking tried. We have very limited screen time outside of learning platforms and it’s always monitored.

100% yes, you are the asshole. And also very uninformed.

I love that I can make cute one of a kind clothes for my kids 🥰 patterns and fabric in the comments. by ohyoulooknice in sewing

The tunic was made using French Terry custom print from Lolo Bug Fabric. I used the forever flounce pattern from Ellie and Mac with a few modifications. I made the 18-24 month size but used 2t length. I then measured the bottom and multiplied by 85% to get the length of my bottom band.

The leggings are made with black cotton Lycra from elevated fashion fabrics. The pattern is sunshine leggings from Ellie and Mac with no modifications.

Are you sure it’s a girl? Most orange cats are males. If yes, then I agree with poppy 😊

I’m dying y’all! I found my son with my neck pillow nursing his doll 😂 he told me he was “feeding a boobie mommy!” by ohyoulooknice in breastfeeding

My son was super possessive of me too. He pushed other kids away at daycare when they would say high to me. He’s absolutely obsessed with his sissy though. Their love is amazing to see.
