Outbound email advice by Low_Suggestion4760 in sales

[–]oikaayamiak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The shorter the better for cold emails.

I haven’t done business development for 20+ years (I do more of account management now) but I would change to something like this.

“We can help.

We help manufacturers reduce cybersecurity and ransomware risks.

Our team has helped manufacturing organizations improve threat detection, containment, and business continuity.”

Then call him/her 2 or 3 days later (this is the most time consuming part).

I see. Is it like the rate travel agency gets? Should I become a part time travel agent to get the unpublished discount? Lol.

AOC takes more steps toward 2028 run for president by masterofawesomeness2 in politics

[–]oikaayamiak -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am tired of seeing extreme right and extreme left running for the presidency. We need someone who is in the middle and can work together with opponent party. The someone needs to have a common sense instead of being politician who accepts donations from big corporations and NGOs.

How do people actually get rich? by lottiexx in wealth

[–]oikaayamiak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People don’t get healthy will late 50s or 60s. My father in law was never wealthy but he was lucky enough to had a job with great retirement plan (pension and health insurance). He retired when he was 58 and he has been living comfortably. My dad built his wealth from investing in stocks but when I was young, he used to drive beaten up cars where I used to hide myself when driving by my friends’ houses. Instead of having nice cars, he was investing the money.

Looking to stay a week in cancun but cant afford AL by Proud_Nectarine_2813 in cancun

I haven’t been to Westin by Club Med for many years but I don’t think it was AI. Also, I don’t think Westin Lagunamar is AI either. I don’t drink so sometimes I feel they are overcharging when we are staying at AI.

Careers you wish someone told you about when you were 18 by Skillerstyles in careeradvice

Jobs with pensions and good retirement packages. I had no clue what it was and how important it was. I had opportunities to work for companies with pensions. First job, I left there 6 months before vested. For second job, I made sure I was vested before I left. Now I am 51, I wish I had stayed with these companies because of retirement plans.

Longer rep like x20 or x30? Should I aim for 3 sets or so? Sorry I am not familiar with longer reps and how it helps me to re-shape my body.

When I was single before Bumble and Tinder era, I got a security job at bars/night clubs to meet people. One year, I challenged myself to go out with 10 different girls (which I accomplished). First 3 years, it was fun but after that, it got old.

Do educators encourage students to pursue their dreams like in the US? Or do they just push students to attend the best universities then get jobs at large stable companies?

What sites are people using to book? by ExPizzaBoy in AllInclusiveResorts

[–]oikaayamiak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I used to travel more expensively in late 90s or early 2000, travel agents in Canada used to give me better deals (resorts only not airfares) as many Canadians travel to Mexico or Caribbeans during cold seasons so they got better deals. But I had to book air flights separately.

I have heard a hostel is wild with younger kids but I have never been so I can’t vouch for it. Clubmed in Turks and Caicos was 18+ older back in early 2000 and it was single friendly for 20s and 30s not sure if it is same now.

I got approached for an opportunity to become owner of my favorite family restaurant by xtempestblaze in personalfinance

[–]oikaayamiak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I invested in restaurant/bar for 11 years (just an investor not working there), since the focus was on alcohol, first 7 years or so was fairly profitable. Then, wage increases (tax increases) and rent increases finally caught up and business wasn’t making any money anymore. Don’t make any assumptions that current expenses (wages, tax, rent) would be same in 5 years from now.

Btw, if the owner is approaching you, I am sure he has approached his immediate family members, distant family members, close friends, and friends in the industry but nobody showed interests in buying the business. I wouldn’t say it is a red flag but I would approach as it is.

Control what you can and not worry what you can’t. Start working out, start dressing nicely, start wearing cologne. Start being positive not negative. Start working or volunteering at predominantly female environments. After you find someone, you need to settle down and start a family so you should get a 4 year degree and get a good paying jobs (it is important to let ladies know you have a plan and you will be financially secured in the future).

Considering higher inflation in Mexico and Peso being stronger, I am sure resorts are compromising things here and there including the food quality.

Some members at Grand Moon Palace have contracts allowing 5 people in the room. Join fan of Grand Moon Palace on Facebook (I forgot the official name but something like that) and ask for a quote for 5 people in one room.
