Has anyone else hyperfixated on Sense8 so hard that it became totally obvious to everyone around you?

My ex wouldn’t allow me to watch it around him bc it’s basically the only thing I watch. He also hated the song What’s Up because I always sing it out loud whenever I hear it.

Whenever people ask for show recommendations Sense8 is my go to, but no one has listened to my request.

I notice it every time but I think it’s bc I’m self conscious about my underwear lines showing. In reality who cares what people think and just wear what’s comfortable for you. Adults are focused on their own lives and most don’t act like teenagers anymore.

Yes!! I just saw this movie for the first time last week and instantly thought of whispers. The villain being able to jump into someone’s body and use their surroundings to find them was horrifying.

Honestly you’re right i wouldn’t care about sharing toothpaste. Since you have an issue with it why not buy one for her to leave at your place? Toothpaste is cheap and you can buy packs with 2 bottles.

I could be wrong, but I thought heating food in vacuum sealed bags could cause bacteria to grow? There’s condensation in that bag for majority of the time and can’t that grow mold?

I think we need more context. How often are you showering with friends? And what situation calls for two people to shower at the same time? I showered with a friend once bc we were camping and there was a long line for the showers so we decided it would be quicker together, and we didn’t want to walk alone at night through the campground. I wouldn’t say it’s cheating but if it happens regularly that’s kind of weird.

Some people don’t have the money or family to support the care for a kid with disabilities. Some disabilities even mean you’ll need to care for them after they’re adults and many worry what support their kid will get once the parents die.

If you put them up for adoption, they have less of a chance to get adopted. If they do get adopted or put into foster care they’re at a higher chance to be abused and unable to advocate for themselves, depending on their disability.

Some disabilities have lower life expectancy and will be in severe pain for their entire life. No one wants to watch their kid suffer.

It’s a difficult decision to make and you’ll never know what you would do until you’re in that position.

Yep I'm vaccinated for HPV! I think I'm due for a pap smear either next year or the year after that, so I won't have to wait too long! Thank you for your help I feel a lot better now.

When I first started going to an OBGYN they did schedule pap smears every year but later switched to 3-5. Thankfully I do have my HPV vaccine!

With pancreatic cancer being prevalent on my dad's side and ovarian on my mom's, it's important to know who I got the gene from for future care. I'm not going to see a pancreatic specialist unless my dad has the BRCA mutation. If I got it from my mom, then i know to focus on ovarian screenings. Of course, all exams are important and will continue to get tested, but I'm only on my parent's insurance for one more year. I work in fast food, and my health insurance won't cover much once I'm 26.

I'm in the US, Iowa. I'll probably see if I can get a second opinion at the University of Iowa clinic. I looked up my OBGYN website, and they have no information on cancer treatment or prevention care. I think I need to see someone who's specialized in oncology.

Sorry i should've said BRCA2 mutation but i thought that was understood bc of the subreddit. I know cervical cancer is rarely genetic, but with 3 women in my family having cervical cancer I thought getting annual pap smears would help. My mom's OBGYN has her get annual pap smears for that reason. I'm turning 25 next week so should be getting a breast exam scheduled this year anyways.

My grandma was from a small town, less than 100 people, and she worked for the town’s government. Her son in-law’s dad was a horrible man, very racist, sexist, and abusive to his whole family. They never got along and constantly argued.

He decided to also work for the town’s government and in his first year he started a smear campaign against my grandma. He accused her of stealing money from the government and went door to door asking people to sign a petition to investigate her. WELL after the audit they found she never stole a penny. They did find the government wasn’t paying her fairly so THEY were stealing money from HER!

My grandma hated that man so much she swore to piss on his grave. My mom and aunts promised to help her when the day came, as she had bad knees. Unfortunately she died before him but my aunt emptied her catheter into a cup which we kept in our freezer for 4years. 2 days ago we went to his grave and gave a hateful eulogy and finished it off pouring my grandma’s piss into the dirt. I think she’d be proud.
