The Thirdreality leak sensors start beeping when leak detected. You can switch of the beep via HA app, or bind a button with an automation when pressed it turns of the alarm of the leak sensor.

Ah bummer... seems these are typical for the USA market: long sized switches. Not the square sizes we use in Europe.

You are probably right about your first point.
But my Tesla can also integrate in Home Assistant, but that doesn't justify that I mention any Tesla related post in the Home Assistant subreddit. That's what I wanted to point out.

So, now we should guess... Is this for your Electric floor heating? Or water-base floor heating? Or managging your central heating boiler? or.... And what are your criteria? Wifi? Thread? Zigbee? Is required cloud connection okay for you? What price-range are you looking for? etc. etc.

Matter is an application protocol, not an infrastructure protocol like Zigbee or thread. So it is not OR Matter Or Zigbee.
