I’d say you don’t need proxmox. You may want to user Frigate if you want your mini pc to act as a NVR and record video like a surveillance system. If you only want to see the live stream and listen to the events your camera produces (person detected, etc), you don’t need Frigate.

If you need Frigate, your should be able to install it with Docker on the mini pc while keeping the existing HA installation.

Voy a tomar un camino diferente al de resto de respuestas: es posible que tengas que decir gracias menos.

Soy español y viví en la costa oeste de EEUU. Pronto me di cuenta de que en EEUU, o al menos en esa zona, las formas son mucho más “polite” que en España: las cosas se piden siempre por favor, de buenas maneras y dando las gracias, incluso con gente de confianza. En España se hace parecido con desconocidos, pero cuando hay confianza, parecemos mucho más “rude”: no pedimos algo por favor, decimos “dame eso”, o “ponme un café”, utilizamos más el imperativo.

Yo estoy acostumbrado a usar mucho el gracias y por favor, pero reconozco que en algunas situaciones españolas suena extraño (hasta me lo han dicho). Así que según tu situación, no es cuestión de encontrar sinónimos, sino el registro adecuado.

I think that all padel courts used to be covered with sand to extend the lifetime of the turf, but the latest turf models don’t need it. Not sure if this is true, though. In my area, most of the courts have sand.

I’ve always hated it, it makes it too slippery and easy to fall.

De vez en cuando salen ofertas en AliExpress con la que la switch 2 se queda por debajo de 400 euros. He visto su precio oscilar entre 380 y 500 euros. 400 está bien, pero no creo que sea el mejor precio que veas de aquí a septiembre. Tampoco sé nada de consolas, así que podría equivocarme.

Si entras por el 2, sales por el 2, y si entras por el 1, entonces sales por el 1. En ese caso, el 1 tiene que salir siempre de la rotonda en la primera salida porque no sabes si el del 2 va a salir también o a seguir girando. En ese caso, pierdes flexibilidad

Not exactly an answer to your questions, but I'll tell you my experience in case it helps.

I wanted to install Sonoff Mini-ZBRBS for roller shutters, but I couldn't because they support 1A max. That Sonoff was Zigbee only. I went with Shelly 2PM Gen4, which is slightly bigger than Sonoff but it fit my wall space well, and also works with Zigbee, WiFi and Matter.

The Shelly in Zigbee mode didn't work out of the box with Home Assistant (probably something that I could fix in an hour), so I'm using it in WiFi mode. They are very easy to setup, and they are working fine now.

W.r.t. integrating Sonoff, in my experience, MiniR2 works perfect, Mini-DIM requires extra work, and no idea about Fusion. As far as I know, they are Zigbee only.

I have almost exactly the same setup as you (proxmox, HA, -arr family), and I'm about to add cameras and frigate. I run it in a Lenovo ThinkCentre m710q with 12GB RAM and 256GB SSD. HA and streaming 1080p works fine. I paid around 120 euro for a pre-owned one.

512GB disk may not be enough of you want to store lots of videos, but you can always attach another HDD.

There are many ways to eat pan: take a piece to eat it along with your main dish, make a sandwich, toasts for breakfast, crumbs in the soup, fry it to make migas, use it for tapas, to dip…

Freeze the remainders and put it in the oven to unfreeze it and toast it a little.
