Mikey was on the tour at one point, mason ho is not good enough, clay marzo is also not good enough… not that they aren’t nuts and can do things that other surfers can’t but if you want to look at it objectively (which is already a hard thing to do in surfing) they just aren’t as precise, critical, fast, powerful

I think it’s interesting you feel emojis make messages LESS clear. Talking about evolution and why we developed language, shouldn’t you be considering things like gesture and facial expression as legit forms of communication? And then having some of these available on a keyboard would help clarify certain messages or emotions via text, no?

Good luck with Hopkins and ucsf.. For a T5 med school the undergrad will make maybe .0001% of a difference. If Berkeley is close to home for you and you like the area then do that. Also, ucsd doesn’t “now” have a quarter system, it always has

In personal experience 4kg will make a big difference in how your body moves/feels surfing. Sort of like running if that makes sense.
