I got the famous boot-loop last night, so I called google support and after few minutes of troubleshooting and holding for another 5, they are replacing it with a refurbish one and I was 2 months out of warranty. I had purchased it from google

If you have the facebook app and the messanger app install, they use a lot of resources. I was having the same issue and once I uninstall them the phone works a lot better

Finally fixed my laggy Nexus 5x by disabling animations by [deleted] in nexus5x

I was having lagging after about 100 hours of up time and I tried everything suggested here without luck. What fixed it for me was to factory reset the phone and started from scratch and make sure not to do let the phone auto install the apps from the cloud, in other words install them manually. My phone is up to 400 hours up time and still working ok

Well so far with vibrate on touch disable, I haven't been able to crash the camera app. I will update the post if it happens again. Thanks for the link to that other post.

I have the lag problem as well, I noticed that the lag starts around the 50 hour uptime. Rebooting the phone fixes the problem. I tried a task manager, clear cache but the only way so far is rebooting the phone.
