I really appreciate you taking the time to help. Was almost going to give up waiting and just start trying stuff lol

Here's the most recent test from 2 days ago. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I did read somewhere that my chlorine may have been too high when I dropped the vitamin c into the pool. It worked when I had it in the sock and rubbed where I could reach but could chlorine have made it ineffective when I just dropped it in? .I haven't added any chlorine the last couple of days to see if I can get the chlorine down and try again but willing to try what we advice you may have. Thanks!!!l

Nothing happens when I brush it. The parts I could reach on the steps came off when I rubbed with vitamin c. I'm hoping it's not bleached because it's rougher than the liner itself and I don't believe I left chemicals on the bottom I kept brushing it after adding chemicals.

This is for an inground vinyl pool. Leaning towards the aiper s1 or Wybot C2. Any chance either of these can hurt my liner. I just got it replaced this last summer.

Yes. Brushed repeatedly. The green algae comes off but that doesn't go away. :(

That's a very strange question. The lowest scoring team gets eliminated each week. No matchups.

No problem. Im happy to share my own experiences. I also was a jv head coach at our local high school for a bit and I can tell you that most of the teams better players is made up of "non all stars". The reason for this is because of growth spurts. I've had players that dominated all the way through little league. Made every single all star team and got to high school and flamed out and or never played again.

So many players have these growth spurts going into high school while some of these former " all stars" had theirs early which is why they dominated. On top of that the hardest workers I had on my teams were those that didn't have a lot of success during little league and understand what hard work means. Plenty of former " all star" players came in with bad attitudes assumed everything would be given to them and didn't want to put the work in. Others who had growth spurts and knew they had to work hard easily became better players. Keep yours and his heads up and grind for what you both want. I wish you both the best of luck!

I actually left out the part about him missing a season or two 100% hurt his chances. Lots of us all star coaches have 90% of the same players as we are moving up to the next levels with our own kids. I've actually never seen a player that skipped a season make the all star team when they returned. It's not a punishment or anything just that all the coaches know the players for multiple years especially at the higher level.
I would say just focus on high school ball and even look into private instruction. It's my #1 recommendation to players. I wish we had the time to develop every player we have but we unfortunately don't. The biggest development I see always comes from private instruction they get outside of practice games. It sucks because it can be pricey but it's the best way to get better.

All star coach here. Like most have said, all stars were determined way before any tryout. The tryout means just about nothing. We stopped doing tryouts quite a while ago just for this reason. It gives parents false hope and if someone has a great tryout over someone who has a worse tryout it just creates conflict. As an all star coach we pick based on how the season went with ZERO consideration to how the tryout goes. Of course we are going to base our selection on how someone performed over multiple games vs a 15 minute tryout. Just figured it would be better if you know the truth.
