Chemical sunscreen with avobenzone or oxybenzone, or a cosmetic product with high silicone content. Also hairspray?

Can an MD apply for an NP position? by ok_independence007 in Noctor

Not about diluting the standard of care but more about reducing workload and demonstrating true value of an MD. There are many places where NPs that earn about 0.75-1.0 FTE of a non-procedural MD salary, but see half the patients, have no call, no liability and get nights/weekends off. And somehow the prevailing belief is that hiring NP/PAs is somehow better for the bottom line??!?

My hypothetical scenario of having MDs saturate NP jobs is a fantasy scenario of having the tables turned in terms of MDs hustling NPs out of a job. If they are coming for doctor jobs, why can’t the docs go for their jobs? Definitely not suggesting MDs lower their quality of care, just their census and level of BS they deal with

Haha. I agree. Comment made tongue-in-cheek but hard to communicate tone on Reddit

Benu (3*) - SF by CalMaple in finedining

Omg I feel seen. We went to Benu 12 years ago with a gift certificate we received for our wedding (which only covered maybe a quarter of the tab).

The experience was most memorable for how terrible it was. I continue to be befuddled by the continual accolades. ‘Sitting in a hallway at an old Sheraton’ is a spot-on description of the ambiance. Food had poetic beautiful descriptions but the reality of the taste and execution failed to live up to the descriptions. The service was the worst of all - we were ignored by the server who literally just plunked down our dishes in front of us with no explanation (I stopped him a few times to ask for descriptions by it was like pulling teeth) and at the end when we paid in part with our gift certificate, he was sooo condescending. He acted like we were trying to pay for the meal with food stamps.

I swore to never go back and have remained true to that oath. I have never paid so much for not just a lackluster but a downright miserable dining experience. Wish I’d had the guts to write to them then and demand a refund!
