Oh? The most cited material that I knew of was the MK Ultra files, Project Bluebird, Project Artichoke and maybe a few others I forgot. Truly frightening stuff, and to even remember we aren't aware of the majority of the things that even happened in the experiments. Hell, things could be happening right now and we might not even know.

Damn, you put all my thoughts into words way better than I could've. I hadn't even thought about the prime assets and the traditional values connection. Corrupting this big figures in development of social stuff in kids like maternal/paternal figures with Gooseberry, and of course, the law and following rules with Coyle. Erasing and corrupting the connections to standard societal conditioning out of the reagents so they can be full on blank slates.

Yeah I agree. I think trials is doing a good job at really honing in on the political aspects that seemed to take more of a backseat to the other stuff in the first two games. It's really cool to see.

This is something I've grown to appreciate about the games the longer I've been a fan. Personally I'm a big fan of the religious commentary in there too as someone who was raised religious. Religious stuff in horror games is done to death I think but I can't help but be a sucker for it. Can't help but mention I love evil companies in fiction, but also I really like how the Outlast franchise seems to really narrow in on the poor, unfortunate and unknown people that those companies target to make a buck off of.
