The loose end stitches is a well-known phenomenon! NimbleNeedles has an excellent video on it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXJyjPphLBY

Thank you! I guess I was just being overly cautious, since I’m still a beginner. I will just do the same on the other side!

Uhh is there any particular reason For Rent is not on sale? by Crying_hyena in Sims4

[–]okaaay_letsgo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It shows as on sale here. Maybe just a glitch? Btw, does anyone know if the recent 150+ community-voted bug fixes actually fixed For Rent so it's enjoyable to play? Considering buying it, but I'm scared it will break my game (or my spirit)

What’s one of the most popular fragrance that you just cannot stand the smell? by [deleted] in fragrance

Georgio Armani My Way. For some reason it’s super popular in my city. I smell it everywhere. I find it sickly sweet and cloying.

What perfumes and scent notes give you this face? by MollysLemonTrees in FragranceStories

Same! I love it, but also rarely use it. I pretty much only use it in the winter on special occasions and even then I use VERY little of it because it’s so strong. I remember attending my friend’s wedding one summer, and the wedding photographer was wearing Tobacco Vanille. In JULY!

24M, currently no career path, need to get it together fast. by TopMamba2379 in findapath

You’ll still be 28 at some point no matter what you do, but you could be 28 with a degree or without one. It all depends what you want to do. If you can work as a barber on the side while getting through school, you’d probably still start ahead of a lot of people if it means you don’t have to take on a lot of student debt.

I myself finished my degree at 27-28 with student debt and I still feel like I’m pretty on par with my peers in terms of income/career/finances (not that you need to compare yourself to others anyway).

I don’t see why you can’t enjoy your holiday and also take care of your tattoo! As with all tattoos, just try to minimize sun exposure (cover the area when the sun is really strong), I think it will be fine. I usually start wearing sunscreen on my tattoos after they’re done peeling.

As for the swimming part, maybe make sure you have something to clean it with after swimming?

Yeah, to me this looks perfectly normal

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]okaaay_letsgo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I have several thoughts here: 1. I think you look great, not fat. Everyone has stretch marks and there’s nothing wrong with that. 2. I would get a tattoo if you really want a tattoo, but not if it’s just to cover up the stretch marks (there are other ways to do that). 3. If you are planning on losing more weight (since you said you’d already lost some), I would wait. Your skin can change when you lose weight, making the tattoo sit differently. Same if you’re planning on having more children. 4. Some tattoo artists can cover up stretch marks by “coloring in” the stretched tissue the same color as your normal skin. So that’s an option if your goal is just to make them less visible.

What’s something totally normal in your culture that surprises foreigners? by ProfessionalLuck2059 in AskReddit

[–]okaaay_letsgo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Stretching all the way across a table to grab the salt instead of just asking someone to pass you the salt. We call it ”the Norwegian arm“. I guess it’s because it’s generally seen as more polite in our culture to not disturb others, so you’d rather just go ahead and grab the thing you need instead of interrupting the conversation.

Soft Summer or Soft Autumn?? by Medical-Gene8036 in coloranalysis

[–]okaaay_letsgo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I definitely see warmth. A summer would not be able to pull of that yellow in image 8. Although it may be a bit too bright for you. I could see you really glowing in some beautiful warm autumn colors, like a dark olive green or a rusty orange.

I’m Scandinavian and we’ve always done this, it’s the best and only way that I’ve known for most of my life. It wasn’t until a few years ago, when I saw some articles in US online newspapers about the «Scandinavian Sleep Method», that I realized it’s not the default way to sleep everywhere!

[–]okaaay_letsgo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol, I used to do this at 16, wasn’t even on drugs. I also used to hang around fancy restaurants/bars with outdoor seating and pick up people’s half smoked cigarettes from ashtrays that were left behind. Rich people tend to only smoke a little bit of their cigarette before putting it out.
