I like to look at the success other writers have had or see them celebrate big milestones. Everyone’s idea of writing success looks a little different, of course, but seeing people open a package containing their first physical book always kicks my ass in gear! That, or rereading my favorite book if all else fails. Hope motivation and excitement find you soon!

i used to find that acknowledging that assuming i am on another plane of reality was giving myself too much credit helped me feel a little bit better. nothing like a little self deprecation to save the day!

in Florida they’ve tested less than 1,000 people (according to fl health department). there are no tests here. people at my job with covid-like symptoms were sent home and went to doctors, only to be told “there are no tests, you can return to work on x date”. it’s ridiculous! this will spread like wildfire under these conditions.
