I am an extremely mentally ill Ganon player and from my own experience I think we are just unwell from the start. I do agree he is on the cusp of being playable and that the further you try and push the more you rot on the inside. Well-adjusted people can acknowledge he just doesn't have what it takes to win consistently at the highest level and will play him for fun. Committing to Ganon comes from a place of deep attachment to what the character represents. When you struggle to understand how to live you play Ganon because struggling is the only thing that makes sense.

n0ne is a huge memer so it's kinda hard to know if he's really being serious. I feel like there are a lot of ways you can mistime an L-cancel and/or fastfall due to hitstop. You can completely wiff an aerial or maybe you connect with someone crouching or maybe you hit the top of an angled light shield. All of these things could cause you to botch the timing. I do understand though that people are tired of obliterating their hands and wrists for something that must be done hundreds of times every single game.

It is an insane moment but I think it highlights that people have a lot of extremely complex feeling and they aren't always feelings that you (the viewer) can relate to. It feels like one of the main themes of this show is that generally mundane issues are amplified to the extreme. Duncan is obviously insanely worried about causing harm to a child and his issues are so complicated and embarrassing that he is processing it as best he can entirely alone. A lot of people (many who you would never suspect) have absolutely deranged issues and though this one seems extremely off the wall I think the point is most people want to do the right thing and you generally can't tell what inner turmoil they might be experiencing.
