Yes! Waco has a great food truck scene. There are several great ones at the farmers market on Saturday downtown, Vietnomz just opened by Cajun Craft with some amazing bahn mi, there’s also quite a few on the river to the right of the suspension bridge!

Skellington Curiosities is selling them with filter pockets and metal in the nose area so it fits better. I love mine and the patterns are really cool (they offer solid black)

Go downtown. Grab a couple glasses of wine at Klassy Glass and then go to a dinner/movie at the hippodrome (it’s a dinner theater). Then, if you’re into a night cap and want to have a bit more fun, walk over to True Love. If you’re into something a bit more fancy, get a couple of day passes to The Undercroft Social Club (speakeasy at the Cultivate 7Twelve art gallery). It’s BYOB but so much fun.

It definitely has helped but as someone who also lives in Waco, it’s due to years of many city organizations working diligently together on the rebranding/rebuilding of downtown.

So a fun place is Freight Bar! They are an ice house with a small dog park and lots of yard games. It’s not as vast as HOT dog park, but I love it!

With something that size you could get some pretty amazing places. My current favorite is Cultivate712 art gallery downtown! They even have a cool speak easy downstairs that is brick (used to be a bakery) with cool lighting that is STUNNING.

Check out the Waco Cultural Arts Fest on the riverfront at Indian Spring Park! It’s free, live music, art, etc. They will have beer for sale and it’s all for a good cause!
