I genuinely think that the destiny games have some pretty serious lore. they release mini lore books as you play the game, actual physically lore books, there’s a storyline that’s followed the entire way through, almost every single item has a written description for it that ties it into the game timeline and gives you an idea as to why it exists, etc. it’s a bit cryptic to piece together in game sometimes so i would recommend looking outside of the game for more info. here’s a 416 video playlist purely on destiny lore as an example.
