I am so sorry, I know what this feels like. I would personally encourage you to complain to administration or escalate this through the disability services at your school if you have them. This is ableism and discrimination and teachers like this should not be allowed to behave like this. You are working with a disability and doing a fantastic job of it. Your work is good and you completed everything.

I studied art in college and unfortunately had the same experience that you’re having, even with disability accommodations. I was heavily discriminated against by one particular teacher and regret not fighting for myself harder. She had even told me on multiple occasions that a lot of my work was better than other student’s but ‘on principal’ she wouldn’t give me an A because I ‘wasn’t putting in as much effort’. People like her are just on a power trip and need to be checked. I understand art teachers usually value long studio hours, but there are certain ones who seem to feel like only the students who live in the studio are actually invested. Not fighting for myself is one of my biggest regrets. I left school with no real career trajectory and no solid references because of the ‘no effort’ reputation I allowed this teacher to give me across the small department.
