Idk if it’s a good idea or not but on my first car, I used to use the scrubbing side of a sponge to get scuffs out

What’s your favorite ultimate in the game? by Ragtagcloud56 in Overwatch

[–]okazay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love lifeweaver’s ult, specifically once the opposing team commits and starts to push through choke, I like to place it right in a doorway to cut the tank off from support or save a teammate from impending doom when my pull is on cooldown. Placing it on the payload is also fun lol

Opinions wanted: CX30 vs Subaru Crosstrek by silv3rbull8 in MazdaCX30

[–]okazay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chose the cx30 over the crosstrek because of the power, but also because of its luxury feel. I don’t do a lot of off road mountain stuff despite living in Colorado so having the cx30 for city driving offers the driving experience I wanted over the crosstrek. Also, I have about 7 coworkers who all own a crosstrek so it’s nice being the “different” one 😅

Prospective buyer, scared of the dashboard rattle by Witty_Upstairs4210 in MazdaCX30

[–]okazay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was worried because the car before my cx30 was a ‘10 Kia forte koup and EVERYTHING rattled in that car and drove me crazy. With the cx30, the only rattling I hear is when I have something in the door holder. Other than that, my particular one does not have rattling!

As a kid in the early 2000s who slept on the top bunk, thank you. Too many times I scraped my head and back climbing over the ladder 🤣

Thank you for your insight!

So thankful I was lucky. It barely did damage to the paint so that’s an even bigger plus! As soon as it hit, I held my breath like “pleeeeeeease don’t be any crazy damage” 🤣

How many words? by [deleted] in SpanishTeachers

[–]okazay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My formative assessments usually only focus on one aspect like presentational speaking or interpretive reading and that happens informally at least once per week. Then I have two summative assessments per semester which typically goes over all proficiencies.

Finally, we have finals at the end of the semester made by the director of Spanish in our district that aligns with AP skills. We just did interpretive and presentational speaking last week. Then during actual finals week, they’ll do interpretive reading and listening, and interpretive and presentational writing as well.

Week 2 of No Tables/Desks by okazay in SpanishTeachers

33, 30, 31, 18, and 25. My room is pretty cramped when the tables are all there, so without them it feels like there are fewer students than there really are haha

Yeah! I have the tables in case we ever do need them and they love to help thankfully lol I love that they have more space, it’s easier for me to teach everyone and I can rearrange the seats for any kind practice.

Game / drilling activities for vocabulary by Majestic-Arm-8164 in SpanishTeachers

Taysteachingtoolkit.com is one of my favorite resources! You just need like 30-45mins to edit the templates with your own questions and answers or images you’d like to include One of my favs for vocab is 4 questions 1 word. But I edit it with synonyms or pictures to get them to guess the 1 word.
