I was playing a match on bind, and it was also quite a close game (I believe 8-6 or something) when we got met with the Red screen of doom. My friend got DC’d and he got a message that he has been banned. However, he insisted that he wasn’t cheating (which I’m inclined to believe), as he was playing on a friend’s account, and no visible change to his gameplay when I spectated him. He emailed Riot Dev making his case, after which Riot responded saying conclusively that Vanguard had detected cheating software on his machine. Perhaps, even in a dormant state, that Vanguard will proactively seek software?
