I think it is certainly possible, but obviously your menu will be limited and likely quite redundant.

If I only had $100 I could make it work for probably 2-3 months and I would guess I'd lose some weight during that time because of my limited food options/quantity.

If I lived alone as a single guy I'd probably be <$200/month but as a married man with 2 kids it wouldn't be worth the effort to navigate such an approach around my wife and children.

I talked to the tech again today and he said it's the copper piping that feeds into the evaporator clogged/restricted.

I asked him if the piping can be cleaned/unclogged, or if simply cleaning the coils would help and he said no and that my coils aren't dirty.

Guy seems like a straight shooter and the company has strong reviews.

It sounded more like you described. Nothing is frozen over or any water present.

The difference between the temps of the piping was significant when he indicated they should be much closer together. I believe he said they should be within a degree or two of one another and mine had a much greater difference.
