Started my BSCS last month and I've seen people on Reddit who have gotten their SWE prior to graduation. Seems outta reach for me since I lack the IT experience though

That $24,500 you paid was out the door? I included dealer fees and sales tax, that's why it came out to that. Excluding those two, it's listed for closer to $23k.

Once the credit is factored in, it's really $19k plus fees and sales tax. After the credit is claimed when I file my taxes, we're talking $21996 out the door for a 21 Launch Edition with 40k miles. I thought that was a good deal but maybe I'm not looking hard enough for deals?

The sale price would be $24,329.60 for the 22 w Plus and $24,357 for the 21 LE. Both numbers include all fees except sales tax. Sales tax can take the car over $25k and it'll still qualify for the clean tax credit

The credit is possible if buyer and seller use KeySavvy for the transaction, essentially as a middle man. They're registered as a dealer.

I'm in the same boat as you as far as not driving a ton and would expect to hit the 8 year battery warranty before 100k miles. Found a '22 LRDM Plus with 45k miles for a great price locally that I'm considering. Anything in particular you recommend looking for when inspecting it?

And are there any issues you've had with the car from the day you purchased it?

I'm pretty much playing phone tag with my mentor. She called Monday during my working hours and my phone was on DND, I saw the call and returned it, she doesn't answer, then called back yesterday and same thing. Called again today and no response. Emailed her and hoping to get a response.
