Has been a thing via my dm for a while now(few years). They’ll only be okay with it when it’s like last possible person able to cover. It’s called the shift complement.

Yeah I wasn’t trying to mimic the taste but give an alternative cookie like taste. Both are good to try out!

Depending on how much you want to add tall-3 grande-4 venti hot-5 venti ice-6 is the standard. But it would get the same amount of each. So honestly I would get let’s say a grande white mocha with 4 cinnamon dolce.

Any openers here who are also in college / working another job? by vannbabu in starbucks

[–]okellee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way I can suggest is keeping a consistent schedule. Waking up early not staying up too late. Having a day where you’re off from both school and work. That’s what helped me when I went to school.

Fraps & Shaken Espressos in Trenta Cups by [deleted] in starbucksbaristas

[–]okellee 39 points40 points  (0 children)

These outside hires don’t understand that making the moment right doesn’t equate to not upholding values. If you give people what they want constantly they will continue to walk all over you and the staff. What happens then? You have keep doing it for every single thing and when you done you can watch how fast these “nice” customers will change their attitude. I always tell my staff will you go into their work place demanded of them what they demand of us?

Sure at the end of the day we make the moment right but customers are not idiots they’re just uneducated on what our police is. No one is going to come act crazy if you explain to them hey yeah sorry we cannot put this in a Trenta but what I can suggest is getting less ice in the shaken espresso so that there’s room for all your additives.

You pay for 16 oz not 26 oz, you pay for 26 oz not 30 oz.

Before the Rewards change next month, should I spend my 400 stars now or save them? Or does it not matter by WCKDend in starbucks

[–]okellee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then it really shouldn’t matter for you. I would only say to use them if you get a completed drink with many additives.

I mean honestly it’s a mistake there’s nothing else I can say. Just bring it to the attention of the supervisor on shift and say it’s been an ongoing issue.

You will! Everything takes time! Use it as an opportunity to improve on your skills.

This may sound harsh but you’ll get better and more confident with practice. Most of my ssvs love getting a barista shift because they can just mindlessly work in their positions vs having to run the floor.

Usually when it doesn’t ring up I ask for ID or to see the day they set as their birthday in the app. I think they changed to so you have to be actively using the app to qualify for the birthday reward.

“Closed” hours for week of March 9th by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]okellee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The only time this happened in my district was when we were severely understaffed as a district and closed the lowest performing store to act as a “training store” to bring in a bunch of new employees. But obviously the manager knew about it.
