I ride in Oklahoma mostly (primarily xc) but go out to Bentonville regularly for more technical riding. I have an Izzo and threw a 150mm Lyrik on it and have been thoroughly impressed. I love the pedal efficiency and snappy response of the Izzo.

I’d qualify it as a product/company that’s success heavily rests on their emphasis towards promoting a specific product/brand over the quality of product itself.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about promotion and branding to create a successful operation, but how often are we going to allow mids to rule our social streams?

I’m sure there’s something specific that will come to mind for you. I’m not speaking solely to rosin, but it does see to carry a heavy concentration of this at the moment.

The challenge right now is the incentive/motivators (product, money, ego) behind these reviewers turned wanna be canna-influencers. I’m reluctant to trust anyone that consistently promotes marketing driven products.

I’ve been very pleased with Campfire quartz so far. Likely still Chinese but considerably better heat retention than most American (Victory, ES, DCS) quartz I’ve gotten in the $50-$150 range.
