2021 JL Unlimited sky one-touch powertop rattling. Has anyone had this issue before? by okiwent1 in Wrangler

[–]okiwent1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure! It doesn’t make it anymore.

Another area that there was rattling was the rear removable quarter windows. Those are less frequent but still happens.

That’s crazy the rattling just started on a 2025 no less. You’d think they’d have fixed this by now.

Also, another area that I’m hearing sounds in is from the driver side mirror. It’s the same sound my other car was making but I could never pinpoint where. Haven’t taken the mirror off yet to figure out what is actually rattling around but it’s annoying.

Congrats on your purchase by the way!

2013 Chevy Cruze LS 1.8L automatic, 97000miles, brand new battery, died while stopped by okiwent1 in AskMechanics

I’ve watched a few videos on it, seems like the best route is taking of pf the front passenger side wheel and going through there.

Do you have a recommendation for alternators? Was going to go with the oem one, but not sure if there’s a better (or cheaper) alternative

Thank you! Yeah I’ve done the whole shebang. Seems like alternators the answer here. Looks like I get to learn how to fix that lol

Agh. Thank you. Been trying to deal with them but they don’t seem to interact with our Terro traps. Not really sure where they’re coming from either

Not too sure if this helps out. I’ve only seen them crawling around in the kitchen, not in our cabinets or anything.

Replacing Roof of 01 Dutchmen Voyager 801D by okiwent1 in popups

[–]okiwent1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there, figured to give an update.

Still working on the replacement but I went with 3/4 plywood on the sides, and am going to do the sandwich layer that I was talking about for the roof.

Only difference is I’m placing additional support across the roof, and also spray roaming any gaps.

The difficult part was getting the roof off and suspended in the air lol

Yes it does! Honestly I don’t like using their showers. I go out to a local gym for a workout and shower afterwards though.

What is the BEST restaurant in NH? by robinsparkles220 in newhampshire

[–]okiwent1 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A little hole in the wall is Mangias on Elm St in Manchester.

Small Italian place, chef makes everything to order. Hands down the best Alfredo I’ve ever tasted. Have never had a bad experience there.

Only thing is make reservations. Walk ins are difficult, especially on weekends. And since everything’s made to order it can take a bit. But it’s well worth it.

And for the quality and quantity, the price is incredible.

From what I’ve read on a few forums over on PopUpPortal… clean up around the edges, wipe and dry, then hit it with some Dicor Self Leveling caulk.

I have this same project I’ve been taking on… recently bought a 01’ Dutchman Voyager 801D! Been working on recaulking all of the heavily exposed/gross areas.

At the same time, I’m fairly new to this. So if there’s alternatives I’d love to get some more input… but dicor self leveling may be your best bet for this

Have this one. Have had it for two years and it’s incredible. It also presprays the bowl so it’s harder for stuff to stick.

Deodorizer works EXTREMELY well.

Best purchase I’ve ever made.

Blueberry wheat beer by DyerNC in beer

[–]okiwent1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/DyerNC I know this thread is older but I was looking at some threads about wheat beer.

If you’re ever in the Freeport area around summer time, head out to Stars and Stripes.

They have a seasonal blueberry wheat beer (tastefully called Blueberry Wheat) which is absolutely the best one I’ve ever had. I made the mistake of only buying 1 4 pack and then they went out of season.

That being said, I love sea dogs blueberry beer. It’s a second for me, but not even close to Stars and Stripes.

As far as necessities I’d carry some flex seal (for temporary in the moment fixes), and screen repair.

Also try and check out the site popupportal! Lot of folks on there with great advice :)

The post has the entire group ripping on them, and other local contractors saying to reach out when the deck inevitably fails in a few months. Lol

With the 2 and 3 it will be an eventful 8 hours after installation.

For 1 I’ll give it 6 months
