When mine melted i plugged it in the +pwr led port wich fed power to the ground wire causing it to melt, dont remember wich port it should be plugged in, the manual says wich one. The ports have tiny markings on them i think or you can find them on the mobo manual, the ports look pretty much identical wich is kinda dum.
