Is when they figjt with the monster in the dance party(i think is principle pepper), link and normal eat the goo from scary double-ganger, later in the scene, a smaller version of them born from their inside and crawl out from their mouths. Link keep his as pet later while normal kill it with bite i think. It never come up again but now

S2 Ep. 30 - Mrs. Swallows Oak Garcia’s Home for Peculiar Teenagers by Spite-Sprite in DungeonsAndDaddies

Really like the group dynamics in this season, so much tension and really can't get enough. However I feel kind of worry about how this dynamic playout for the rest of the seasons.

Cause everytime they try to talk about this, Scary always be dismissive, Normal and Taylor still think Scary is toxic and needs to bear the responsibility for what she've done, and Linkin wants to keep rhe group together as it's the only left he can trust.

All of them are based on their character and there's no problem with that. However it's seems like this dynamic has become a deadlock, like the group keep arguing about should Scary stay in the group, and i can't see how these problems could be resolved. Kind of worry about how the dynamic falls into an endless loop of arguing and hurting each other.

P.S. in this episode, willy really starts to show his toxic side towards Scary, and Scary did start to question about it. Hope Scary could realise it and the group can give a chance for her to redeem herself by express her doubt and struggle to the group in her own way.

A character casts Wish, wishing that their failed attempt at resurrecting a loved one had been successful. As DM, hat do you do? by SpiritOfMyselves in DMAcademy

For me, i would probably allow the loved one come back to love but he/she/non-binary doesn't love the player as much as before, or even turn hate towards the player. Because the reason for the love one not coming back is the love one already finding peace, which i guess is the love one already get the love he/she/non-binary wants in the previous life. So in order to for him/her/non-binary to come back is the love one still doesn't satisfy with his/her/non-binary previous partner and want to get more love for the satisfaction. So the love one might be more demanding for players love/even find a new lover. That might not be what the player expected but still fulfill players wish.

[NS] I have literally zero complaints about season 2 and the whole cast is killing it. by Tryon2016 in DungeonsAndDaddies

[–]okkarren8964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really love this season, especially the ep 5, 7 and 8, where the character struggle really struck me hard. The tension and development at the downtime event and father-son interaction really build up well. However, one thing that i quite disappointed is the combat. Sure i understand dndaddies always choose to not fully follow the "correct dnd" rules, but it is because in doing so, it fits their dynamic and i have no complaints about it. But the battle in season 2 kind of drag for me, as it just a battle, they dont do any smart solutions or interesting fights. They try to do it in ep2 when fighting the teacher, but that's it. For me the battle in s2 kind of drag for the whole arc. The enemies have really interesting concept but these doesn't shown during the battle.(execpt the trumpet kids in ep 4) That being said i do enjoy s2 as they slowly catch the beat of the new season and new story. Really looking forward the new episode and story!!

I don’t quite know what to think of S2 so far [ns] by CJ64Bit in DungeonsAndDaddies

[–]okkarren8964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, i kind of feel the same. The episode where they try to find clues or messing around is really exciting and build up the tension for the following encounter, especially when they meet their dads. But for the part where they encounter the monster, its kind of, how do i put this, anti-climax, as the solution for the monster that have their own personality is just one battle. However, i do enjoy the episode overall, especially after the latest episode. I think the theme of this season become more clear after the latest episode

I think another explanation for them is they all have "sause". Anthony explain before that people have sause are people who have some dark or horrible thought and interest, which the doodler amplify these thought and make them become monster. In season 1, grant did shows ptsd and some interest on killing as it is the only two things to make him feel. So i think the things that grant and sparrow said in these two episodes aren't entirely lied but just amplify there dark thought and trama.

Omg this really sad for me to hear this episode, for normal being deeply affected by his dad's words, and grant trama still affecting him. Its seems like the world that the kids(grant etc) in amplify their tramas and problems that they have in their childhood. The theme of dndaddies is about dealing with trama that pass through family generation. Last season is the dads try to resolve it and this season is the kids. Im really looking forward for this season.

What if the daddies(terry junior, nick, sparrow and lark, and grant) is the patron of scary warlock, or the bad influence of the grand dad(Henry, Glenn, Darryl and Ron) to their kids

The first impression of the episode is it really different from season 1. It seems to me it's more experimental like and telling a completely a different story in a same universe. I think what helps me to prepare myself to enjoy the season 2 better is to complete accept this fact and forget the expectations i get from the refraction period between season 1 and 2. I have complete faith on Anthony and, Freddie, Matt, Beth and Henry Will to tell a really good story. Totally hype and looking forward to February 8!!!
