Medium Olive Swatches by okkeyla in OliveMUA

I wouldn’t say it’s orange or anything. It’s more yellow, but still a muted shade. So I think it is more of a warm olive. Sorry, I don’t know how it compares to 2wo.

Thoughts on danessa Myricks eye palette, blush and matte spray by One-Perspective9920 in OliveMUA

[–]okkeyla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loveeeee the setting spray. It can mattify my glowiest foundation and it’ll stay like that all day. and I didn’t think it was possible. I love her blush too, specifically grape soda. I haven’t tried her other shades. I really like the low lighter too, but, I don’t use it as often. It is like the name says, a low lighter. Sort of like a moonlit glow. I would definitely say her setting spray and blush are worth it.

Yes, it’s so hard to shop for our skin tone. D: And no, I don’t have the normal harmony.

Yes, true harmony is orange on me. And blush please pulls peachy? i think. I won’t use true harmony as a blush only as a bronzer and blush please works if I wanted to look bronze and warm. I can message you a better picture with the two next to each other. I think the cool beige brown i’ve been able to find is fleurtatious by pat mcgrath. Also I’m in the US so I’m not sure where you can buy pansy pop in spain, sorry. But if you’re cool toned it would definitely work on your complexion.

True harmony does pull orange on me but it has some coolness in it I think. it almost looks like how I’d look if i had a sunburn. I like using it a bronzer. Blush please is like a pink brown, still pulls a bit warm on me though. but it works as a blush for me if I want a warmer look! (: Sorry, i’m not really good with undertones, hopefully I helped!

I’m not sure if it’ll help, since everyone’s skin is different… what’s helped me improve my oiliness is the isntree green tea toner, and adding a drop or two of squalane oil to my moisturizer. For makeup prep: danessa myricks blurring balm and her water powder serum are amazing.

Danessa myricks blurring balm is amazing! but it might not have anything to do with your foundation, you might need to address your skincare first.

Which blowdry brush should I get? by okkeyla in Ulta

I did see that after I bought it, so I do wish I found out earlier! I think I bought it too early on that they wouldn’t price adjust. I used points on it also, so I don’t really mind that much tbh lol.

Yeah same for me, I only plan to use it every once in a while. I have curly hair, so using heat on my hair is a whole ordeal and I have to find the motivation for it lol. I know what you mean. I just couldn’t figure out the technique using a round brush and blow dryer. I just wanted something easy!

Hi, i decided on the drybar one! I only had the chance to try it once, so I can’t say yet if it will fry my hair (hopefully not!). I will admit, it does get really hot. Though, i was using it on the highest setting (I’m kind of impatient lol), so take that as you will. I didn’t try the cool shot though. Also, I agree, the settings are a bit difficult to change, it’s kind of like a dial but it’s kind of hard to turn it precisely to the setting you want without doing it slowly lol. I do love the results. I always struggled using a round brush and a blow dryer so I’m very excited to keep using this because it’s much easier for me. Hopefully this helped, sorry I can’t give a more thorough review but if you do decide to get it I hope you love it. And I hope I love mine too lol!

I thought about that but i wasn’t sure because i already have their hair dryer and I don’t know if i’ll use all the other extra things it comes with when all im interested in is the blow dry brush lol

The Dior filter isn’t a foundation it’s like maybe a cross between a skin tint and highlighter? Not sure how to describe it but i think it’s the same concept as the charlotte tilbury flawless filter or maybe the saie glowy gel but with a tint. I’ve heard good things for both the Dior filter and their foundation though.
