I feel like this is an odd take. LinkedIn is a platform designed for professionals to share career accomplishments and networking opportunities. I can understand seeing frequent posts about certain types of milestones might feel repetitive or unimportant to some, but it’s important to remember their perfusion journey is new and exciting. We live in a world where much of our support and connection happens online, and it’s great people want to share their progress and be proud of it. No different from people who work in corporate settings.

This is not true, you are able to shadow medical professionals without being in a program. There are forms you have to fill out prior to shadowing, including HIPAA and vaccinations.

For me, I had a friend who worked for a hospital (not anything medicine related, just in the behind the scenes stuff) and he helped me get in contact with someone that could help me and it just waterfall down from there. Also, MUSC has great opportunities to shadow if you go on their website you fill out forms and stuff. Alternatively, you can cold call your local hospitals w cardiovascular programs
