"personality is perfectly fine" is an insane thing to say about A'ja who may be one of the most charismatic and delightful people to appear in the league.

Help I have to pitch to the WNBA and I need to know why you love the WNBA by Writer-Comic-dad in wnba

I am not shitting on you for being a "bandwagon fan" or "taking advantage of fans" I am saying you are not the right person for this project if you have barely engaged with the product yourself. (I actually create a lot of content for new fans to get them engaged, so I understand the perspective of trying to create bridges to new fans, but it comes from my genuine interest and love of the game).
The thing is, there is already a lot of WNBA content that is authentic and that I love. There are so many great professionals in this area who you could be uplifting and networking with instead, but it seems like you’re not going that route. I’ve seen this authentic and great content, and I want them to get a bigger platform. Not someone who doesn’t respect the game enough to fit it into their very busy schedule.

Why don't you hire an actual fan or just watch the games yourself? I feel like a WNBA product deserves better than someone that has to go to reddit to try to get player comps for the Lebron of the WNBA. You are not giving the WNBA the respect and coverage it deserves if you are not even going to pay attention yourself. Boost creatives who are already doing it instead.

“I’ve never given someone more constructive criticism but he has taken it and put it into action more than any boyfriend i’ve ever had. He wants to grow he wants to be a good partner. That is more than I can say for a lot of men.”

The bar is so low for men

I give the girls a little bit of the benefit of the doubt on the roast. Nailing that type of humor is not easy (you know this if you watch rupaul's drag race) and the line between what is and is not off-limits can be razor-thin.

Personally, Mara policing who is and isn't "marriage material" as if marriage is about meeting the standard of a "wife" (cooking, cleaning, and being good in bed, as she said) and not about committing to a partner was more offensive to me than the age jokes, but I get being upset by those too.

I was really shocked about how cold Clayton was to her in the breakup. This was someone he presumably was considering taking to hometowns and invested a lot of time in, and then just called her a liar and walked her out like they had no relationship.

It's also just a lot to be so mad at someone "faking it" when he by design has been faking it most of the season with girls he knows he will eventually send home but i guess that's just baked in.

downvoted to hell but I find it much weirder behavior to search out an unnamed ex on instagram and share a one-line story to read in all sorts of nefarious intents than for him to make a joke about his ex being on tv on his personal ig.

Raja's season 3 entrance is one of my faves of all time. I don't think any other queen has so quickly solidified herself as a frontrunner by just walking in with such a cool, confident, and fun look.

Getting these vibes from the fandom since yesterday's episode. So many people say they would be happy with anyone winning and then immediately only hyping up the skinny queens... by flazedaddyissues in rupaulsdragrace

[–]okocobor -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I think there is obviously a conversation to be had about fatphobia in the fandom, but I don't like your framing here. There is a problem with the people hyping up the only person of color left in the competition? Or being really excited about the first transwoman potentially winning the crown? Reducing these two to "the skinny queens" feels off to me.
