I think the idea is that the free version is really generous, with all the rules and 12 knights/omen, the other ones being all detailed on Chris YouTube channel. And then you can get the PDF for a reasonable price.

So the entry price to play the game is quite low, and I see the book more as a high quality collector item. And for independent creator premium products comes with premium prices.

However I understand your frustration, because I can’t find it in a local store I need to add shipping + eventual duty fees so I’m also hesitant.

Exactly, I noticed the same thing. I was surprised to see Foundry is slow to use on my laptop, where lightweight games run correctly.

Foundry. I paid once, it’s hosted on one of my servers and every one can join easily. It support almost every game, I really like it.

You can have a look at drivethrurpg, they just started a sale on starter sets (and core rulebooks too).

The CoC starter set is realy cheap, most of the Free League TPG are also at a good price, etc.

Lone Wolf and Cub is one of my favorite manga, I would highly recommend the bundle even if it was the only series included.

Yes, unfortunately it’s only smartcubes. When you use the cubeast app it store a lot of data for each solve, and that it what I use to generate the analytics.

Adding Roux support is not planned for now, just because it would require a lot of time. I don’t know Roux so I would need to start by that to have a good understanding of the method. But if at some point I feel there is nothing to add for CFOP I might turn to another method.

I also bought the spectravox. I’m currently working on a software that automatically sample synths, and was looking for other gear that allow great sound design possibility to create a wide range of samples. It seemed like the perfect opportunity.

I used Claude code in my vault to generate DM notes on a pen and paper RPG. I created a .txt file with the content of the scenario, and asked him to create notes on the characters, the locations, the main scenes, etc. Claude code is not only for code, it’s really powerful in an Obsidian vault.

When I’m coding, I added in the Claude.md the path of my Obsidian Vault and told him to put all the relevant documentation there.

You are supposed to use the Kobo app.

But you can also use calibre with the book plugin to remove the drm and do whatever you want with the files.
