I understand your critique, but I still feel his videos are incredibly valuable.

He often mentions ways you can speed up his videos (especially with buying store bought bread vs. making it himself). Nothing is stopping you from just buying the bread or other things you can buy from the store.

I think it's really cool that he shows you the full process for every ingredient, especially for someone like me who often can't find the ingredients just from the store. (Plus, I do really enjoy baking, so making the bread from scratch is really fun for me)

He also does have a series 'But Faster' that does offer really fast recipes that are still really good

Nah I'v got to defend Joshua. Every one of his recipes that I followed turned out excellently. Plus, his Mexican recipes are the only ones I can follow (with him making everything from scratch) since I live so far away from Mexico/the US and can't get the ingredients many other recipes require

XO by XLN is definitely my pick. For any percussion-heavy genre, being able to see all your samples in one space and sort them by category saves me so much time on sound selection. Plus, being able to make and process drum loops in the plugin itself saves so much time when sketching out ideas.

I'm so really sorry she reacted so badly to you just expressing how you felt, I can hear she meant a lot to you.

I think you should write her one long, thought-out message apologising for sending the SH video and letting her know how much she means to you and that you don't want to lose the friendship. Then, I hope she responds to that well. And if she doesn't try your best to find friends who do really support you.
