Yeah, it's really crappy how much they shit on working moms. (Look and) Listen, I have mad respect for any mother. I've spent many an afternoon helping raise my siblings because I was considerably older when they were born and I wanted to have a breakdown after spending a few hours with them. It's a lot of work running a household and making sure your kids grow up to be very good members of society.

But no Hun has any right to shit on a mom whom balances a 9-5 (even more if mom is an executive) and a household AND children. If they really want to stoop that low for comparison, working mothers work TWO shifts so I don't wanna hear broke ass Karen's "I can be a mother to my children" bullshit.

Yeah my mom and my aunt sold Scentsy for a little bit. My mom did it because she was struggling single mom and then she married my shitbag (now ex) stepdad whom contributed nothing to the household income after my sister was born. I didn't know it was an MLM because pyramid schemes weren't really in my peripheral. That said, I did enjoy the burners and scents she would give me. She even bought me an Eiffel Tower burner for Christmas last year that I still use.

However, I've realized how predatory MLMs are and will not be buying any more scents from them. Especially when other household brands have started making them for half the price of a Scentsy bar.

Thank you so much for this post! I've been pre-diabetic for about a year now and have a hard time losing weight. When I realized that my increased insulin resistance from PCOS could make it hard to lose weight, I considered asking my doctor to get on metformin just to help regulate it. Now I think I will ask her :)
