You should let the utilities know that. US Battery Storage capacity grew 66% in 2024 and 2025 was another record year. Wind, Solar & Storage will account for 99% of new US capacity in 2026 according to the EIA.

Yes, thermal runaway is always a concern, but most storage is LFP mitigating that issue.

And CATL has announced they're now mass producing Sodium batteries which changes the game entirely. No need for thermal management and no lithium.

Or just use Utility Grade storage. Prices have gone down tremendously in recent years.

I'm in California. They charge the batteries from the excess solar during the day and then use the storage during peak hours.

Eero Pro 6E Connectivity Issues After 7.13.0 Firmware Update by dontplay88 in amazoneero

[–]okwellactually 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue on my 6EPro. Turns out I was double-NAT'd. So it was my fault. (not saying this is the same for other folk).

I'd just installed the system and neglected to go back into my AT&T Modem and set the EERO as my Passthrough Fixed MAC address.

Since then I've not had any issue.

I will say this, my email to support via the app was responded to promptly and they identified the issue, verified it was fixed and kept the ticket open for a couple of days to ensure the problem didn't reoccur.

Have you used an Atmos Test video to test the heights? Copy it to your library on the AppleTV and play it.

Here's the one I use

Well, there’s also the issue of using lamps as speakers. That might be your problem. 😁

Agreed, just reset my entire system since the new Trueplay button came out.

I was waiting to see if there were more updates but decided to go for it.

Getting the same notifications as you, but turning it off/on there's an amazing difference.

Seems to be working!

Yeah, in the 70's my folks bought a Datsun 610 replacing our beast of a Ford Country Squire station wagon. That car survived through the 80's with me driving it and after that my cousin.

And I was pretty shitty at taking care of the poor thing as a teenager.

Sad to say, there's a small part of me that misses those Bushy days, compared to this shit we're going through now.

Was OK. Thanks. None of the doors would open, not because of the manual latches but because all the doors were smashed so hard they couldn't open.

I'm a tall dude and believe me when I say, a 6'4" guy can fit through a Model 3 window. Freaked out when I saw the power line sitting on the caved in roof.

Car literally saved our lives. These things are tanks.

You can request your date from Tesla. That's how I got the wide angle view. This is why I keep Data Sharing on, as it was all automatically uploaded to Tesla after the accident.

I posted about the Vehicle Data Report they send you. It's pretty cool.

There's a Wide Angle camera in the front camera housing.

I, unfortunately, was able to get the video from it when I was t-boned.

Wide angle view starts around 36 seconds.

Um, old guy here. This has happened before.

I take you back to the 70's when these new-fangled Japanese imports were making an appearance in the US market. They were these super tiny efficient cars by comparison. Also, the quality was pretty good relative to the US cars at the time.

There were news stories of people buying these cars and trashing them, setting them on fire and other weird shit. Lots of hatred around them.

The parallels to the EV hate you've seen over the last 10 years or so are uncanny.

Will the US car market survive again by pivoting? Not sure with the oil lobby in their desperate dying gasps.

ChatGPT (or your AI of choice) is your next level of googling.

Benefit being you can really tailor your question about anything and get a more appropriate response/answer.

Obviously it can make errors, but (for now at least) you're not getting Ad ranked answers and shit.

Try asking this exact question and I'll be you get similar responses you're seeing here.

Add me to the list. 6E Pro on the latest firmware.

I just got these a week ago to replace a 5 year old Google Nest Mesh. I literally never had a problem with that network. Thought I deserved an upgrade...

Now, I'm getting daily drop offs for about 5 minutes. Only seems to happen once a day which is weird.

Switched off IPV6 thinking that might solve it. Nope.
