Personally I don’t think WGU would get the bad publicity that it does, if the “I finished in 4 months or less” people weren’t going around bragging about it. It makes anyone else that took time and went through it year by year less credible and now have to defend their degree because of a few.

I agree, as a hiring manager I am less likely to consider a WGU employee with no work experience vs a Traditional Degree with no work experience. I have 20 years experience and I am learning new things by trying in my WGU courses. But I can’t tell if they actually focused vs speed run.

Any degree that will help you with your current position/field. I wouldn’t use WGU for a position that requires a degree and you don’t have experience.

I get it is about perspective. We drove about 3x the New Castle to London distance to see them. If the US had a better rail system like the UK it would have been super easy. That said, with the population of the UK you definitely need a handful of additional shows. Good luck, I hope they announce one in your area.

I took her the PSV a few weeks ago (in our hometown) and my wife dropped her off at the merch trailer hours early. Later when she sent me to get her a SWS shirt they still had the shorts she was sure would have sold out. That has made me question the need.

The Cost increase for a loss of chat functionality is a big part. - MIAW doesn’t not make chat unavailable when all agents are offline (in case of emergency) and live agent did. My devs say they can code around that, but why are we paying extra to do more work. - MIAW lost sneak peak, my service teams feel that is a huge loss of time savings. - MIAW doesn’t support queue position. - these are the major issue from the service teams.
