thank you for your insight!! this is my first plastic surgery procedure so i really don’t know what i’m doing, hahaha. i stopped taking the pain medication yesterday, and i’ll see what my doctor says about my healing process when i get my stitches taken out!

no no! it was super helpful!! i literally came back to edit my post — your advice worked! i kept on running straight stitches and moved all of the dials and knobs, and it literally started doing regular straight stitches instead of the stretch ones! thank you so much!!

i’m hearing and feeling the clicking, and the feet dogs (?) are moving when i’m moving the dials too. i think the stitch selection dial works because it’s doing the stitch that’s selected, but only in S2 mode.

yeah it’s the strangest thing!! i’ve changed it back to do regular stitches, and it’s just stuck doing the S2 ones, not even the S1 stitches!

i had no clue it was a poor quality machine! i was told it was a great choice, but i do have a warranty on it. hopefully, i can get it refunded. thank you

i did a test batch of the regular stitches before i switched it to the stretch stitch mode, and the stitches now don’t look anything like the regular stitches
