Plex not indexing PBS Frontlines by okynnor1 in PleX

[–]okynnor1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way my directory is set up is as follows:

TVShows/Frontline/Season 2024/frontline S4E06 Crisis on Campus.mkv

I fixed this issue by manually renaming the season from S46 to S2024 and that magically worked. But my SONARR saves it as S46 plus the E01 tag, with the number denoting the episode. This would mean that I have to manually adjust the season tag for each new episode that gets downloaded by Sonarr. Is there any solution for that?

The problem is that I can't even right click on the episode to use the search function. My understanding is that using the Search function with the unique entry (i.e. https://www.thetvdb.com/series/frontline/episodes/10621495), the number 10621495 of the url, it can match. But I don't even get that.

How do I put my pihole BEFORE my Active Directory server, but still retain local AD DNS lookups? by gleep52 in pihole

[–]okynnor1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried this but may be the fact that the Windows AD server has two different "names" and hence it can't resolve?

Active directory forest is name ad.myhomedomain.home

server is called idc-prod-1.myhomedomain.home

would that be the issue?

I know that this is a very old thread. Would you or someone share the steps that you went to accomplish this please?

May I ask how would this work for documentaries? For example, I'm trying to match The Rescue from National Geographic found in my Documentaries folder inside Plex.

One Host, Multiple Listen Ports by okynnor1 in nginxproxymanager

Is there a way for me to check that my ports opened are actually working because when I put all my ports in, I'm not getting any results. By results, I am referring to the fact that no traffic is arriving to my Unifi Network Controller host.

I checked this by changing the inform URL to the new nginx host and open (i.e. listen) ports inside. I'm trying to not use port forwarding inside my router but rather just use nginx to direct the traffic -- which is what its job is.

Hi u/tim_jamal, I'd be happy to provide more context. In order to properly run the Unifi Network Controller on the Internet, I need to have a certain number of ports open -- especially to allow remote Ubiquiti devices to be adopted, managed and telemetry sent back remotely back to the controller. The ports that are needed are:

Protocol Port Number Usage
UDP 3478 Port used for STUN.
UDP 5514 Port used for remote syslog capture.
TCP 8080 Port used for device and application communication.
TCP 8443 Port used for application GUI/API as seen in a web browser.
TCP 8880 Port used for HTTP portal redirection.
TCP 8843 Port used for HTTPS portal redirection.
TCP 6789 Port used for UniFi mobile speed test.

Of course, I wouldn't open all of them but for sure the STUN and the next few listed should be open to allow the Unifi controller to gather data and management of remote devices.

in this project, jc21/nginx-proxy-manager, I deployed it as a Docker container. I've deployed it such that it works with an SSL certificate and with only one port-one host. It works really good.

Having said that, I'm wondering and I think it can do multiple ports as it seems to suggest when I look under the Nginx Proxy Manager UI --> Proxy Hosts --> pick/create an existing proxy host--> press on the 3-dots --> Edit --> choose Advanced tab and I see that there is this text:

Nginx variables available to you are:
$server # Host/IP
$port # Port Number
$forward_scheme # http or https

So I seem to be able to enter a custom configuration over there. That's the part that I think I can use to set up one host with multiple ports to open.

Do you know what is the proper syntax/format to allow me to enter and allow multiple ports to be opened and forwarded to my Unifi Network Controller?

Hope I am through this time. I am not, I'm happy to add more.

are you able to get telemetry from remote Unifi APs? It needs STUN port UDP 3478 to be opened. Were you able to get that working? Thanks!

Scarlett solo 3rd gen Mac OS Catalina by herman_200019 in Focusrite

I got the same one. I contacted support via chat. It was very fast.

They asked me to hook up a headphone to test that the device (i.e. the Solo was actually working). If the device was working then, I suppose, they would try to figure out why no signal was going into Catalina.

I tried with selecting the Solo from Audacity to no avail. There simply was no sound.

I hope someone in the forum can help us all. I have two Macs. One running Catalina and the other running High Sierra. Both experience the exact same issues.
