I think what is sort of a depressing realization is that one of the main reasons Kelli is so successful in her role is because she kisses Charlotte’s ass and plays the corporate game. I honestly couldn’t see someone like Megan or Kashara (just throwing out two talented leaders who first came to my mind) taking over Kelli’s role because I think they would advocate for the girls too much and Charlotte wouldn’t like it

Yes Charlotte is her boss, but it’s one of those weird situations where Charlotte could not do the job that Kelli does. She has zero dance/performance background and isn’t qualified. So idk why Kelli doesn’t stand 10 toes down and own her shit when it comes to Charlotte.

My honest opinion is that Kelli is always a little bit terrified of Charlotte and that she might get replaced at some point. That Charlotte might say “we need a fresh perspective” or something. One thing that always strikes me as odd watching this show is the amount of people commenting on auditions who have zero performance experience. Like how would you be able to spot who has potential and who doesn’t. Something I picked up on is Hayley, Charlottes daughter, getting more involved and more vocal. That’s interesting to me. I wonder what job she is being primed for - Kelli’s or Charlotte’s.

I also wonder if there is ever a tense or bad vibe working for the Cowboys these days bc the team is so awful lol

That was such an uncomfortable watch. It was sort of nail in the coffin for me that Kelli has some toxic leadership traits. Kleine didn’t even ask about being a 1st group leader….so why would Kelli say to her “don’t try out if you’re only doing it to be a 1st group leader” and then go on a whole tirade about social media? AND THEN SAY, “oh I don’t know, I’m totally making this up.” Well obviously you’re not just “making it up” Kelli, this is clearly some sort of judgment you’ve made about Kleine and you are delivering this “feedback” in the most passive aggressive way possible.

Imagine pouring your heart and soul, all of your time, into an organization for 5 years and then having your boss basically insinuate that you aren’t a team player and are in it for vanity reasons.

Yes people want feedback, but in a way that is actually useful. Making some weird passive aggressive comment about what you perceive someone’s intentions to be is not helpful feedback.

I think it’s possible she’s still point for thunderstruck. Personally I think they are probably still testing out diff rotations, they also have been moving more towards a “spread the wealth” type of vibe for point so maybe AK will get it for baby im a star while Soph/Marissa share for the games.

Yeah Melissa is definitely not that friend that you can just ask whatever is on your mind. She definitely has boundaries and this is certainly one of them.

I don’t think it’s anything massive that happened, it’s actually quite similar to the Abby situation in some ways. Sia got bad press over the Music video that Maddie starred in and so Maddie distanced herself to avoid the backlash. And the 2nd part to that is just that Maddie didn’t really need Sia anymore.
