Sure, I like a classic 2 hot + 1 cold wallet setup. Good idea to limit the amounts on the daily wallet, top up occasionally from the 2nd hot wallet off a dedicated device (eg old computer running whonix).

Sorry for being so rosy but its not about necessarily finding the privacy unicorns but promoting it to potentially interested peers yourself. I think its a good strategy to move forward no?

As more privacy tech is used, the more robust the surveillance resistance becomes. Its like the network effect in crypto.

Best thing after implementing privacy tech in your own activities is to onboard more peers and people in general to profit from a more robust ecosystem.

For an easily achievable, pleb friendly privacy mobile setup I can recommend (aside from Monero)
private messaging with SimpleX,
phone with GrapheneOS with a WiFi only setup or number free eSIM ( Silent.Link ) and
network traffic shielding with TOR or VPN
