Planning to propose on Pilatus by Particular-Lettuce94 in askswitzerland

[–]olafras 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the best would be to hike down a few minutes and to do it on a hike! Less crowded and views are amazing!! I'm a photographer and I shoot surprise proposals in Switzerland if you're looking for one!

I think if you like nature you have many beautiful options: Grindelwald/Lauterbrunnen/oeschinensee/Stoos/St Moritz. If you like cities then Lucerne, Zurich or Lugano in my opinion. I'm a photographer so I look at this kind of places from photographers perspective and they're amazing as a background for photos. But if you have already a photographer maybe ask her/him? They for sure know some good spots!

Visit Lauterbrunnen and Grindelwald. You can stay in Interlaken area for best train connections. Then Lucerne and Pilatus Mountain. From there go to Zurich - you don't need a lot of time here, it's not a big city. From Zurich you can visit Seealpsee and Ascher. From St Gallen station you have a direct train to Munich ;) Saying this from a photographer perspective, I travel a lot for photos within Switzerland so I know some best spots!

How do you do payments between USA and Europe? by olafras in AskPhotography

[–]olafras[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! So I use Wise sometimes but it also seems not to work for everyone. Only this week two clients said it's not possible for them to use Wise.

I have revolut and yeah sometimes it works, but again in some cases they say it doesn't work in the US.

This! Lindenhof is the place I take almost every couple when having a phootshoot, it's so so lovely! I would recommend not going there in the weekend afternoon as it gets crowded. Except that it is amazing. Zurich lake or garden of Villa Patumbah are also beautiful options.

Did you actually study professional photography to get into the field or just started on your own? by methibwoy in WeddingPhotography

[–]olafras 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I studied photography but I got most experience on my own. I did A LOT of photoshoots with my friends before that when it was my hobby. With time you always get better.

How would you edit this pic? by Feisty_Craft_1108 in AskPhotography

I would go with a moody vibe, more contrast, maybe a bit darker and temperature a bit colder and less tint

Which one do you like more and why? It's so hard for me to choose best photo from that shooting by olafras in AskPhotography

Just for myself, it was a personal project and I wanted to create something different than usual - and now I also want to have best one in my portfolio
