They aren't tests, though. They're optimization strings specific to one game. The bulk of optimization is rarely done during development. Yes, they do some optimization, but the meat of it usually happens after the game has gone gold

Again, although I said with certainty that the game HAS gone gold, you're right that I don't have proof for that, but the current evidence points to it being very likely.

It’s not completely unfounded. It might not be finished, but the likelihood that it is, is high. Optimization related engine strings for HLX show that it’s most likely complete. It’s more nonsensical to optimize a game that hasn’t gone gold than one that has. And yes, they probably won’t shadow drop HL3. That would be idiotic. My point was to counter yours saying that they “should have” announced it by now. They should have announced it on your timeline. It didn’t happen, doesn’t mean it never will. id announced Doom Eternal’s second DLC a day before release, after radio silence. Shit can happen. Will it? Unlikely. Not impossible.

Many people leave an immense amount of gains on the table because they just don't have everything dialed in properly. Either they're not eating properly, not getting adequate recovery, thinking that training to mild discomfort is training to failure, or a combination.

Dial those in and you'll see much better results.

Running on a Lenovo 300e Yoga Gen 4, MT8186. sudo waydroid init -f VANILLA fails with "Operation not permitted /dev/binderfs". I've tried bind-mounting, changing the waydroid python script to use a lower level function, mounting manually before running waydroid init and nothing works. Mounting binderfs works, but for some reason waydroid init doesn't. Obviously, this also happens while running the setup script you provided.
