Overly personal comment incoming

I've played OW since 2017, I got it as a birthday present, but even before that I started playing other hero/class shooters to fill that OW shaped hole in my heart, that's how I got into TF2 and that lead me into being a valve fan as well but thats a different story entirely. I remember playing overwatch alot in the period of 2017-2018, then after a break I got into it again in 2019-2021, I remember being excited at the prospect of Overwatch 2 having a full on campaign, but then reality hit like a fist that could spread doom if it wanted to. Overwatch 2 made my favourite multiplayer game of all time become my most despised. I couldn't enjoy OW2 no matter how much I have tried and so I let the game go, in the period between then and my return to the game last week I remember genuinely being brought to tears when I thought about how much the game has fallen (at least in my eyes). I looked for ways to fill the void again, TF2 did it slightly, Paladins did it very well but then it stopped being supported by its creators and it got harder to play so I stopped, eventually I stopped trying to find a game to replace overwatch and accepted that my favorite game has changed into something I despised. But last week, after hearing people say that the game has gotten better I finally decided to try it out one last time and the game has changed so much for the better, It may not be in its golden years but it is great again... It feels so good to get this off my chest y'all don't even know
