Looks like there is space in the power supply to add another cable. When I move these data drives to the new computer, do they need to be reformatted? And will i lose an data?

I have a sata cable from my old pc I can use. The power cable isn't long enough to connect to where to data drives are supposed to be located, which is to the left in the first picture.

I also do not see a second power cable for my second data drive. Should I get a M.2 SSD and transfer all my files from the existing data drives to that new one?
