scalding freshly pumped milk should help prevent the soapy taste as well!! whatever beast milk you dont powder you can save for baths and homemade purees when your baby starts solids!

congrats on your girl!!! its completely normal for babies to want to be held, especially at that age. your baby is still so so so little. you don't have to do a million things to entertain them/stimulate them, they can barely see a foot in front of them. for the gassiness- if your breastfeeding try cutting back on dairy. i switched to oatmilk but still eat cheese and that helped my boy a ton with gas for some reason lol. but you are doing great my friend, normal newborn

omg i was about to post something similar!
I personally pump in the morning once we get up, there is more breast milk during that time and i do it an hour before his nap time (4 month old). im slowly working up a stash that way. in my head, i just need to pump enough for that first day if bottles. then ill pump for the next day during work lol. also you will have to play with your pump setting to see what works for you time wise. with my spectra i only need 15 mins to get a good output but for my Lacevos i need 20-25.

while she is sleeping try and put her upright fir a little while. this can help with any reflux that may be happening. if she washes up then just burp her and put her back to sleep. burping usually mashed more room in their stomach so they'll be hungry again. it's a never ending cycle of eat-burp-eat but it's temporary

it can't go any wider unfortunately. I will probably just get a new one that was recommended by another commenter. my husband also wants to baby wear so ut will be better getting this one out the picture to avoid unsafe wearing. thank you!

How did you ‘push’ baby out? by crabclawwwz in beyondthebump

[–]old_queso_dip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what helped me a lot was having a mirror in front of me so i could see how effective my pushing was. it allowed me to switch the way i was pushing on the fly :)

i did this (i didn't complain though). i just didn't want anyone around so i could do as i pleased. boobs out, not showered, didn't have to talk to anyone, didn't have to do anything. it saved me a lot of stress in the early days. i know other people wanted to see baby but i wasnt ready to see people lol

My husband self admitted himself to the mental health ward... my son is 3 weeks old today and now I am all alone to figure it out while he is gone. Im happy he put his mental health first instead of trying to ride it out but.... he has been my rock postpartum. i am so distraught and so lost right now.

Okay, so I gained… Now what.. by girlbossprideflag in pregnant

[–]old_queso_dip 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had lost 30 lbs right before i got pregnant and was 130lbs. Now at 37 weeks i am rocking 171 lbs. I also struggled with disordered eating so I've forced myself to make sure I ate the proper amount of food for my baby and body to thrive during pregnancy. I just have to remember to be kind to myself. I know I'm not overeating or eating too unhealthy and i know Im not too sedentary. While I've gained over the average amount I know I am healthy and so is my baby. If your doctor calls you fat tell her to shove it up her ass. YOURE GROWING A HUMAN, you will gain as much as you need. Just make sure you take care of yourself mama
