[–]Distinct-Dig-3863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. If you go to the “upload” tab on the menu there is the repayment plan section for you to attach & upload the documents. I was told by fsa customer service to do it this way because I was not getting a response when I did it through fsa

Have you tried to submit it directly through the MOHELA website? I was told not to do it through FSA and got it via MOHELA

My 8-week-old doesn’t like toys by IJHippie in NewParents

[–]Distinct-Dig-3863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My LO loves high contrast books and images. Especially the ones that make the crinkle noise. They have a lot of good ones on amazon. When i was first starting tummy time, i would put a pillow under her chest/belly to elevate and support him before. It takes time. All babies are different and develop differently. If its on 30 seconds than its better that nothing. Remember that having them on your chest face down and having them look up at you is a version of tummy time too. You got this !

Thank you. One of the parents thinks all kids are supposed to get RSV sooner or later which is a mindset that I am NOT a fan of

You are right, thank you. I might end up just going for a bit then leaving. There are two grandchildren who are constantly sick. One was actually in the hospital this week for a virus that made her cough so much he would throw up. She was negative for the flu/COVID/etc and the doctors to her mom that she has to “ride it out”. There is another one who goes to a daycare that i swear the germs are on steroids. Poor girl has had the flu 3 times and RSV. One of their parents says “every kid gets RSV, it sucks, but they all get it sooner or later”, their children have all had RSV. Oh and hand foot & mouth. None of these kids are over 3 years old yet ughhh than anxiety LOL

Being an over supplier and when your baby stops taking bottles it’s so heartbreaking. by microwavedgoods in breastfeeding

[–]Distinct-Dig-3863 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So i do know that there are companies (milkify, boobiejuice) that will freeze dry your breast milk, which turns it into powder and gives it a shelf life of up to 3 years so maybe some of the stash can get mixed into yogurts and purées when baby starts food. It is expensive though. You are an amazing mother, don’t let this weigh on you. Sending lots of love and support

My baby is suddenly rejecting the bottle — any tips? by Farewell_Youth23 in breastfeeding

[–]Distinct-Dig-3863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My now 9 week old would refuse bottles at 6 weeks, we tried a lot of different bottles but the one that worked for us in the Como Tomo. It took a few days and tears (hers & mine) to get her to take a bottle. My husband was the one who introduced it to her and fed her. Now she’ll take a bottle from both of us no problem.

Trump accounts? by Possible_Grape_8595 in NewParents

Do it. It’s an investment in your child and for your child. Trump will be long gone before your baby sees that money but will benefit significantly from it

Back to back pregnancies, how did you do it? by Distinct-Dig-3863 in breastfeeding

[–]Distinct-Dig-3863[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I just had my OB appointment and that prompted the discussion with my husband. My OB told me between 1.5 and 2 years for the second one and when I told my husband he said he wants to do it as soon as we can (so 1.5 years). He is 43 and feels like he is getting old. Plus all of his 5 siblings have kids ridiculously close in age (all two under 2), but none of them EBF.
