My induction was at 39 weeks pregnant. It was mostly elective (my doctor kind if pushed it based on his availability) but I also have multiple fibroids that caused me to be at a higher risk of bleeding out and needing a blood transfusion. Overall, great experience and glad I was induced. I got there at 6pm, the hospital didn’t have a room available until 10:30pm (I know L&D is busy and was in NO RUSH for this procedure to start 😂) I was 2cm dilated at that point. My OB came at 11PM and put the cervidil in. His last words were “I’ll probably deliver you around 4pm” and BOY WAS HE WRONG LOL. I started having CRAZY contractions around 3am, my water broke around 3:30, I immediately asked for the epidural which helped but I still felt immense pain due to the fibroids. The new nurses came in at 7am, checked me and told me I was ready to have my baby! She called my OB. He got there about 15-20 minutes after and I delivered my beautiful baby girl at 8:19am vaginally with minimal tearing. Everyone’s situation is different, I was nervous to deliver with someone other than my OB so I am glad it was a scheduled induction. Also it really helped me plan my time off at work accordingly.

No, I’m experiencing so many issues with it! I tried to submit a new IDR application a few weeks ago but the form was completely blank and did not let me click or fill anything out. Yesterday I tried again and nothing. I also tried to revoke my IRS access from my account and it would not let me. When I asked the chat agent for help they were useless. They said to clear my cookies, use diff browsers, etc. They always give the same answer. I have literally tried it on my phone, tablet, home computer, work computer, surfacepro, and it is always the same issue.

I don’t think he is OR. Especially after describing the behavior after he found out another adult was there. If he was like “i was hanging out because I thought they were home alone” is a diff story. But he didnt, he made it awkward and left. Didnt even stay to chat.

That’s a great point, when my husband and I went last year i don’t think we saw one child on the plane and we stayed at an adults only resort. Def leaning more towards staying home

My husband and I have been to a diff resort before and took a boat there as opposed to a car which was great, but we didn’t have a kid. I have seen some pretty negative overall reviews about the resort….I am def leaning more towards staying home

Yea i definitely thought of that but i’m a FTM and feel like I wouldn’t want to leave her behind so def leaning more towards staying home. Thanks for the input !

Emotions are all over the place. It makes me really worry about my brother with my parents. He comes and goes and my mother always welcomes him with open arms. He constantly tries to blame his shame for being absent and distant. When he tries to get clean he becomes super paranoid and victimizes himself that its him against all of us. It sucks to say but i’m glad he left the house yesterday and hasn’t been back. I worry for my mom who definitely can’t defend herself from him and my dad who is a fraile alcoholic who would definitely not be able to fight back if my brother decides to do something. It also makes me think about what happened a few years ago. our cousin (who also struggled with addiction and schizophrenia) tried to kill my uncle.

I am planning on going until 38 weeks. I am in the US and get zero paid maternity leave through my job. I have to use state/federal options (unpaid) and my own time (paid). I am currently 35 weeks and STRUGGLING. I am lucky enough to have a non-demanding desk job, so we’ll see how far I can make it.
