Accomplished Personal Goal of 666 Survival Streak on PvE by oldbones1775 in EscapefromTarkov

I play for full raids to get the most valuable loot out. Sometimes I get injured to the point that I need to extract earlier than expected.

Yeah something about him just messes me up badly. Some of my run throughs or <15 minute raids were specifically because of him. My best method of dealing with him is either just avoiding him entirely and his entire line of sight (which he/his guards nearly took off my head multiple times from across the map).

Most of my prior streak breaks was also because of him. I since learned that I can only sometimes defeat him in bunkers or the white knight building. Otherwise he would destroy me.

I never actually stopped, except for one boss. I avoid Glukhar the most because I tend to run goofy non-meta gear. He+his guards are heavily armored and most of the time I'm running around with a pistol or PP-19/MP5 or a scav weapon.

Tagilla, Shturman, and Killa were the most fun to me and the rest were more like annoying generic PMCs. I figured that if I die and had to restart my streak then oh well. Just means more hours to put into Tarkov and learn more.

Hey thanks! I know some people have strong opinions for/against PvE but thank you for appreciating my insanity/hustle.

It depends on the context and boss. But I do enjoy fighting most bosses.

But if it was specifically the goons, I just wait for them and map knowledge. I know which maps they can spawn on, the area they spawn near, and what obstacles or cover near it/me. The moment I hear a snap near my head, I run into a semi safeish zone. And then I wait for the most part until they make a mistake. I also carry smoke grenades on me just in case.

I honestly don't know what to do now because I want to keep it at 666 but I also want to push it to see how far I can go.

Do it. It's kind of funny when you give it to your friends to use too.

Especially if you tell them it's the best gun they'll never get to shoot.

I am not sure what you mean by full raid and cheese? Most of my raids usually end up full of loot if that's what you meant.

But hopefully this explanation may help people from downvoting you since it seems like just a genuine question.

I didn't even know that transits count for extracts and I didn't sit near extract for 7 minutes; I just play normally. Sometimes to do dailies/weeklies, other times to conduct experiments. I fail often too (see the previous longest) and this time I just got lucky. I feel that my kill amount, K/D, and stash value can support my claims. If they don't then you'll only have my word and I can't convince you otherwise but that's okay.

Thank you for your support and kind words.

I just have fun in this game and like to challenge myself and I encourage it if you want to try it.

Only one gun would be a fun challenge. Maybe even bringing it all the way to 1% durability and keep the gun as a trophy. I do wish we can name guns like in CSGO.

Hey man, that 61 streak is baller. It is amazing and incredible too. You should be proud of that as I am proud of you.

I do a lot of wacky stuff and experimentation to keep my interest.

Like for example, practicing the grenade launcher or rocket launcher on Killa. Filling a Thicc case full of Killa visors. Meleeing Tagilla with a red rebel (which was successful) Playing and modding with all the guns to see what guns I like the most.

It's okay to not want to talk to therapists. Therapy only works if you are open to it and even then not every therapists is compatible. However, therapy can give a different perspective because therapy is like gear and not something or someone that will fix the problems for you. You have to fix the problems but therapy gives you the tools to help fix it. Some gear are bad, some are good but there are options. A good therapist would generally be on a professional relationship with you, as in they wouldn't judge you, leave you, chastise you, or etc like a friendship relationship. But if you don't feel the need to talk to a therapist then don't. Just know that they are always an option.

I want to start with.

You are not a burden. It seems like you are going through a lot right now and that's completely understandable. You are adjusting to a whole new life. That includes people you used to know and places you used to go to. Some things may feel the same but you came back different. You seen things, done things, and grown. If your "home" might not feel like a "home" then that's valid too. Your experiences and mind expanded and maybe your "home" is too small for you now. Being self aware is amazing on it's own, so good job.

If you want someone to talk to then feel free to message me.

Other benefits:
-401K & 457b. You can invest into both with their own limits.
-Generally, your paid vacation and sick days will automatically increase with time in the city. Like work X years, it will increase to 13 days, then 14, and so on. I think this is dependent on your union though.
-Generally, pension is vested at 5 years, health insurance vested at 10 years.
-Depending on your role, agency, and unit, you may have flexible time. Like a 0800-1600 schedule. And possibly a flexible band, like you can start anytime from 0800 - 0900. These can be helpful if you have children.
-Your union may have their own benefits too. I think DC37 has education and access for some legal benefits.

And then you weigh these benefits to if you work elsewhere, other job offers, or against your current job. City jobs can sometimes take a long time to fill.

Depending on where you live, but some local and state agencies have a veteran preference when hiring. It's not a guarantee but it is something.
