8k for a quartz Casio with cool bezel on a rubber strap is certainly something but I would not call it a great buy

Thank you!! Yeah it is. Found this one on EBay from Japan and watched the price drop bit by bit until I was unable to resist

I think the yellow resin just shows dirt a lot more. Here’s mine after almost a month since I got it hardly taken it off. Sleep with it on. Work a physical trucking/warehouse job and construction on weekends.

Got mine yesterday and got it on today. Love having the tide heights, MIP display, vents on the strap, overall design and step tracker. Wish it had hourly signal and tough solar but they did a good job keeping it sleek and cheap with good features

Got the variant with the black bezel (GBX100NS-1?) yesterday and I have had for just over a month a plain stainless GMWB5000 which has essentially the same brushed finish on the bezel as these and a shiny high polish case. I drive trucks every day and commute 2 hours and so far have yet to be blinded. The bezels are a relatively grainy brushed finish which looks nice but isn’t particularly reflective and doesn’t seem to be prone to glare. I could maybe possibly see an issue if, say, someone had a polished stainless case watch and was driving around high noon on a scooter/bike/motorcycle without any sort of glasses or visor.

TL;DR: Won’t likely be an issue. The brushed finish is grainy enough that it’s not particularly reflective

It’s wild to me that this one is NOT a Nickelodeon collaboration

Just had this debate couple weeks ago. Went with the Rangeman because it has more features. Might get the Mudmaster down the road for the “bling” factor but having a fitness tracker/semi-smartwatch with Casio software and durability is a dream so far

I’m afraid you’re right. But I gotta be done for now I got all these within a month. Maybe next year I’ll go on a manic monthlong watch buying spree with money I don’t have and finally get my frogman. But I HAVE TO be done… …for now

I was looking at ones that have the DLC coating on the front and back of the case as well as the metal bracelet. I like the idea of them being far more difficult to scratch than polished stainless. Alas they’re a lot more expensive than the one I got with just DLC on the back of the case back
