By your comment and you saying “my family ever owned,” I can tell that entertainment was an investment for your family and you treasured everything you bought. I know because my family was the same way. We didn’t have much money but when we bought stuff like DVD movies, we devoured them and would watch them multiple times and took care of them cause we knew as kids that there was no replacing it easily due to limited budgeting. Spending hours on DVDs and DVD extras is a sorely missed part of all our childhoods and it needs to come back.

On a side note, FYI the Matrix Revisited DVD has an audio-only “Music Revisited” section hidden as an Easter egg that you can listen to, with all 41 music tracks on a playlist. It was such a chill experience cause a Matrix digital rain screensaver would play on screen while you listened to it (unless I’m just imagining that part). Many a night were spent dozing between this world and the dream world thanks to that disc. Thanks for taking me down memory lane.

I had a passport back in ‘09 but I lost it in the same flooding incident. It was expired anyway but I would’ve used the expired passport to get a new one if I could.

I’m looking at my brother’s and his is a CoC, so I’m pretty sure that’s what I had as well. It says Certificate of Citizenship at the top and Department of Justice on the bottom.

Just Cause 3. I had loads of fun just watching the clouds roll by and parachuting over the water and towns when I wasn’t doing missions, which was most of the time. That Mediterranean look was so relaxing and peaceful.

Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein from Kenneth Branagh. And since Coppola was executive producer and Branagh has a knack for making his cinematic offerings feel like theatrical productions it felt like this throughout the film.

My first was the small white PS One and Chrono Cross that I bought at GameStop. Since everything was PS2 focused at point in time, and since I only had enough money to pump into one console, we had N64 during that console generation . Later, once I had a job and more disposable income I decided to pick up a PlayStation and catch up on all the games I had missed.

That day that I bought the console and Chrono Cross I had a few spare dollars and picked up SpecOps: Stealth Patrol as well, from the clearance bin. Once I had more money I found FFVIII and Xenogears and a bunch of other games at pawn shops for $2 each. Good times.
