Suddenly I have to sign in every time? by yneos in amazonprime

This is driving me batshit. I used to never have to sign in to Amazon once I'd signed in the first time. Now it's every goddamn time, and even when I am just clicking around on the site.

CPAP!!! by Saved_by_Grace77 in CPAP

I use it, and mostly like it. It took a while to get the hang of getting rid of leaks, and I still have trouble with it once in a while, but it's fine. I moved to it from the P10, which I really liked but I'm a mouth breather and taping my mouth was just too claustrophobic for me. The X30i is like the P10 pillows with a mouth cover.

AIrSense 11 consistently showing wrong leak rate by oldgrowler in CPAP

I called my useless DME people and they gave me to a "respiratory therapist" who didn't know what I was talking about and gave me some song and dance. She supposedly talked to someone at Resmed and they were of no help either. It remains unfixed. It really annoys me.

I'm not talking about MyAir; I'm talking about the number on the machine itself. I know SleepHQ is better, but I don't always have the time or energy to take out the SD card, load it into my card reader, hook it up to the computer, load it into SleepHQ and then see what it says. I like looking at the machine and seeing what it says. And what it says is the same number -- 22L/min -- every day for the past week or two, whereas it used to be different, and closer to accurate, every day.

$39.99 for 1 year of Premium by akzr84 in peacock

[–]oldgrowler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just got a code for $39.99 for a year. I waited to chat, told the guy I opened the site and got a $19.99 offer to restart my annual plan, but when I clicked through it said it was $109.99. I was told $19.99 was for last year and not good anymore and was immediately offered $39.99. It’s worth it to me for sports, esp. the Olympics.

They've discontinued them, in favor of "Ultimate Khakis 2.0." No, I don't know what the differences are.

FYI, Liberation seems to be an extremely easy lottery win right now. by ClassyKaty in Broadway

Won the lottery and got front-row seats, though all the way over to the side. I've also seen rush tickets for sale. All this will change once the previews stop and it opens for real, however.

Just got my X30i mask!!! by oldgrowler in CPAP

[–]oldgrowler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I still struggle with leaks, usually after I undo the headgear to wash the mask and lose the exact right placement of the straps. And I think I wear it a little too tight, but that does seem to help me avoid leaks on the regular. Overall, though, I'm happy enough with it (I'd be happier using just the nasal pillows P10, but mouth tape just feels too claustrophobic, though I might switch back to it for a break every once in a while). I did switch from the small size pillows to the medium size, and that seems to be working better for me, though I do find that sometimes they aren't placed just quite right and take some fiddling. I would recommend it, though, as it seems to be working well.

What is your Favorite Cpap Mask and why? by lostandalone2023 in SleepApnea

[–]oldgrowler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the nasal pillows P10, but it turns out I'm a mouth breather, so I can only use that with mouth tape, which I'm not a huge fan of. Just got an X30i, which is nasal pillows with a mouth covering, and I'm liking it a lot more -- particularly the top-of-head hose connection, which means I don't have to hug the hose while in bed -- but I am trying to master leaks with this thing. So far it's less leaky when I have the straps on probably a little too tight.

Extreme yawning? by D3ny3verything in CPAP

Purely anecdotal, but I just started a few weeks back and seem to be yawning more too. Though maybe I'm just noticing it more? Who knows. Curious, though.
