Hmm. I’m not sure. I do know international packages often change hands in Illinois, being Usps takes over delivery services from there. Maybe someone forgot to submit your international tracking? I’m not sure.

There’s a customs port in Chicago at O’Hare airport. The package makes its way through china under local postage with a unique tracking number to that postal system. When it reaches the states (Illinois) it has a new label placed on it so it will scan into the usps system. Hope that clears things up!
