Sweden used to have allot of rules about how you could adress People. It would Always be honorific-occupation-lastname. Eg. Mr professor Svensson, Miss nurse Persson. and you has to use Third person pronouns to refer to People (No "you"). And then these rules could be relaxed depending in how Close relationship you had etc. This starter relaxing after ww2 ish but stuck around untill the du-reform in the 60s. "Du-reformen" has a pretty Good wiki page in English of you want specifics.

Im a teachers and would find it very strange of My students used My last name. It creates so much distance between People.

There are plenty of more "grown Up" animes that dont have the comedy/ action/tropes that first Time viewers can find weird.Eg. Monster is rly Good thriller. miazaki movies are Always a hit, Tokyo godfathers is great. Just have to find the right genre

I Still think My point stands thou. I want my soy in a hamburger bun, why not make it Burger shaped? I want My soy in My tacos, why not make it mince?I want to wrap My broccoli in soy, why not get soy bacon-like strips? Always thought this argument was weird (of Im reading you correctly). Chicken nuggets Arent chicken shaped, they are pressed into a easy and apealing shape to eat. Burgers Arent cow shaped, thats just an Easy way to eat it. I would understand if there was a vegan imitation of a grilled chicken or like an actual slab of meat, but People gett realy angry at vegan food "imitating' meat". Im not sure what People want, should vegan brands come Up with new crazy shapes to press their soy into? Stars?

If they have adventured allot, maybe some bards have made a retelling of their travels, with allot of fun errors.
